Interested in becoming a certified Montessori educator?

Beginning in early 2026, Gilman Montessori Academy will establish a new Teacher Training Division that will serve both our own staff and the broader community. The primary goal of this initiative is to cultivate and prepare highly qualified Montessori educators, further elevating the quality of instruction at our school and benefiting not only our students but also other preschool children in the region.

After years of professional training, refinement, and thoughtful planning, GMA’s Teacher Training Program will officially launch in partnership with AMTI, the largest and most influential Montessori training institute in Australia.

In 2026, we will begin by offering the 0–3 Montessori Teacher Training Program, with three study pathways available: self-paced learning, online instruction, and in-person training. All coursework will be completed under the guidance and supervision of highly experienced Montessori teacher trainers and professors.

Upon completion of the academic component, GMA and partnering Montessori schools in the region will provide practicum opportunities until trainees meet all required standards and successfully qualify as certified Montessori educators. Graduates of the program will receive priority consideration for employment opportunities at GMA and at our partner schools.
